Updated Branding Strategies Course Now Available

Three-day offering from San Francisco State University, Leverage2Market Associates teaches basics of brand strategy

REDWOOD CITY, CA – September 20, 2007. Leverage2Market Associates, Inc. today announced the availability of a three-day intensive course on Branding Strategies offered as part of San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning Integrated Marketing Program.

The course, to be offered in three sessions starting Monday evening October 22nd, is being taught by Linda Popky, President of Leverage2Market Associates, and will introduce the branding process, including brand and product positioning, the key elements of brand identity and how to communicate the essence of a brand. The class features hands-on learning and exercises that allow participants to develop a full brand strategy for a selection of products.

“Not only is branding a critical part of the strategic marketing process, providing the foundation for successful marketing campaigns and initiatives, but it’s also something we’re all exposed to on a day to day basis.” said Linda Popky. “I’m excited to be able to offer this course through San Francisco State to help marketing professionals build their capabilities in this important area.”

Linda Popky has over 25 years experience in technology and B2B marketing, including experience with companies such as Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, and Network Appliance. She is also affiliated with Marketing Operations Partners, where she leads the ROI Management and Marketing Competency Development practices.

In addition to the branding course, Return on Marketing (ROI for the Rest of Us), introduced last semester, will again be taught by Linda Popky at San Francisco State on December 1st.
